GRAPHIC CODES FOR COMPUTER HOLOGRAPHY

Several aspects of graphic codes of computer-generated holograms are d iscussed. This is in contrast to the algorithmic studies that have dom inated research in the field of computer holography in recent years. W e study the graphic cells of binary cell-oriented holograms under the aspects of specific fabrication and performance problems such as the p en-width problem and zero-order scattering. As result; we present expe riments with new or modified cell structures that avoid some of these problems.
