Abstract
The cultivated vegetable crops of the world are listed by family and L atin binomial, followed by the common name(s) in English, Arabic, Chin ese (Mandarin), Danish, Dutch, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanes e, Malay, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Tagalog. The edible portio n of the plant utilized for food and the general method of preparation were reviewed and listed.
