The DNA complexes with actinocyl-bis-bithiazole were examined by spect
rophotometry, viscosimetry, and dynamic flow birefringence. It was sho
wn that at a low extent of binding actinocyl-bis-bithiazole interacts
with DNA by bisintercalation via its bithiazole fragments. The phenoxa
zone chromophore functions as a linker connecting the intercalating fr
agments. At a higher binding extent, external binding is observed.
