Abstract
Homogeneous illumination of Sr1-xBaxNb2O6:Ce (0.25 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 0.75; SBN) crystals with a green light puls e allows subsequent recording of a holographic grating with infrared l ight pulses. The grating can be read nondestructively with infrared li ght and can be erased by illumination with green light. The results in dicate that the charge transport in Sr1-xBaxNb2O6:Ce must be described by a two-level model.
