Tj. Walsh et al., ACTIVITIES OF AMPHOTERICIN-B AND ANTIFUNGAL AZOLES ALONE AND IN COMBINATION AGAINST PSEUDALLESCHERIA-BOYDII, Antimicrobial agents and chemotherapy, 39(6), 1995, pp. 1361-1364
In order to develop new approaches to treatment of infections due to P
seudallescheria boydii, the in vitro antifungal activity of amphoteric
in B alone and in combination with miconazole, itraconazole, and fluco
nazole was studied. Combinations of amphotericin B and antifungal azol
es were synergistic, additive, or indifferent in their interaction aga
inst P. boydii. Antagonism was not observed.
