Abstract
Differential cross sections for the C-13(gamma, pi(-))N-13 reaction at E(gamma) approximate to 184 MeV (T-pi approximate to 41 MeV) were mea sured with the Saskatoon tagged-photon facility and two range-telescop e detectors. Data were obtained at pion angles of 45 degrees, 60 degre es, 80 degrees and 100 degrees, with emphasis on the forward angles, w here the cross section shows a strong rise. The present data, together with existing ones at larger angles, are compared to several theoreti cal calculations.
