Abstract
Delusional infestation represents a unique subtype of the delusional d isorder category. This article presents the phenomenology, etiology, a nd treatment of delusional infestation. This article also reviews hist orical and theoretical attempts to distinguish tactile sensory phenome na as either hallucinations or delusions.
