Abstract
The distinction of slow-flow dural carotid-cavernous sinus fistula fro m high flow lesions is important both from a prognostic and management point of view, particularly in the elderly. We report the case of a p atient in which colour flow duplex imaging of the orbit provided an ef fective and non-invasive method of monitoring the vascular abnormality prior to spontaneous resolution of the fistula.
