The geochemical and isotopic studies of the Kempirsay massif rocks wer
e carried out. It was shown that the amfibole and chlorite formation i
n the mantle rocks could be considered as a result of the successive i
nteraction of peridotites and chromites with the metamorphised sea wat
er, nonmetamorphised sea water and finally the surface meteoric water
after the obduction of a plate on the continent. The amfibolisation an
d chloritisation are known as factors of mantle geochemical unhomogene
ity.
