Abstract
This article described novel thermoplastic elastomers (TPO) consisting of a PP matrix and a synthetic rubber phase crosslinked in a new way with organosilanes. The mechanical and rheological properties of the b lend an determined primarily by the phase structures produced in the c ourse of compounding. PE-ULD can also be used as synthetic rubber in p lace of EP(D)M, with the attendant advantage of reduced swelling in oi ls.
