Abstract
The isothermal phase diagram for the system cetylpyridinium bromide/n- butanol/ n-octane/H2O has been determined at 40 degrees C. The H-2 NMR spectroscopy and DSC methods have been used in determining the struct ures. The results showed that the liquid crystal phase constructures n ot only changed with variation of the content of water at a certain te mperature, but also changed with variation of temperature at a certain composition.
