Abstract
A new gall midge species, Eocincticornia malarskii, is described from galls on Eucalyprus fasciculosa F. Muell. from South Australia. Detail ed descriptions of the: larva, pupa, male, female and infestation symp toms are given. The new species is compared to E. australasiae Felt, t he only other known species of the genus.
