Abstract
In this paper we present a variational model for a charged spinning fl uid in interaction with the gravitational field. This model is a natur al extension of a previous one dealing with neutral spinning fluids al ready studied by the authors, in which each infinitesimal volume eleme nt is considered as being a replica of a micro-rigid body endowed with rotational inertia.
