Abstract
The exact solution of the Milburn equation without the diffusion appro ximation (MEWDA) for the Jaynes-Cummings model (JCM) with an intensity -dependent interaction is obtained. The deterioration of the collapses of atomic inversion and the oscillation of the photon-number distribu tion are investigated for the full range of the decoherence parameter gamma.
