Abstract
The symmetric ordering (SO) rule has recently been extended to quantiz
e polynomials of \A\(2), where A is the classical complex mode amplitu
de. Here the SO is extended to functions that can be represented as an
infinite power series of \A\(2). The results obtained are compared wi
th those of normal ordering and number state ordering. We also address
the experimental implications of our work.
