Abstract
We investigate the effect of degeneracy on the diffusion coefficient c ontribution to the acoustic attenuation in n-InSb according to the Hus ton-White model for piezoelectric semiconductors. Calculations show th at the classical Einstein relation for the diffusion-mobility relation ship is a reasonably good approximation even at low temperatures and f inite magnetic fields.
