Abstract
Hydroa vacciniforme is a very rare photodermatosis, commencing in chil dhood and belonging to the category of idiopathic burns. The inconstan cy of the therapeutic results raises the possibility of a clinical syn drome than can have different origins. We present a case that responde d very well to carotenoids.
