Among the protocols for identification of irradiated foodstuffs submit
ted to the European Committee of Standardization, two using ESR (food
containing bone or cellulose) were finally accepted as official 'draft
European standards' in Berlin on 9-10 June 1994. We present here some
new results for oyster and mussel shells, and an ESR draft protocol i
