Abstract
Parkinsonism is a disabling disorder frequently noted in the elderly.
Its prevalence increases with age and has been associated with an incr
eased risk of mortality. Appreciation of certain presenting and charac
teristic symptoms aids in determining the appropriate cause and treatm
