By. Song et al., A STUDY OF EFFECT OF COCKPIT NEAT STRESS ON PILOT THERMAL STRAIN, Transactions of the Japan Society for Aeronautical and Space Sciences, 38(119), 1995, pp. 57-65
This paper considers the effect of cockpit heat stress on pilot therma
l strain. Data were collected from 25 flights of an aircraft at CFTE.
The inter-relations between parameters were gained through linear regr
ession analyses. The effects of meteorological condition, flight state
, the operating state of the environmental control system of the aircr
aft and cockpit initial temperature on cockpit heat stress are studied
, first. Then, the effects of pilot surrounding temperature, pilot ind
ividual physiological characteristics and cockpit humidity on pilot sk
in temperature and sweat rate are also studied in the paper.
