D. Riccioli et al., LIGHTCURVES AND ROTATIONAL PERIODS OF MAIN BELT ASTEROIDS .3., Astronomy & Astrophysics. Supplement series, 111(2), 1995, pp. 297-303
In the framework of the collaborative program between the Astronomy In
stitute of Catania University and the Torino Astronomical Observatory
to collect new photometric lightcurves of main-belt asteroids, six new
objects were observed. The B and V photoelectric observations were ca
rried out at Serra la Nave stellar station of Catania Astrophysical Ob
servatory during June and August 1992 and April, May and November 1993
. The observed asteroids and their reliable determined synodic rotatio
nal periods are: 238 Hypatia (P = 8.(h)84+/-0.(h)01), 371 Bohemia (P=1
2.(h)48+/-0.(h)01), 411 Xanthe (P=7.(h)48+/-0.(h)01), 419 Aurelia (P=1
6.(h)63+/-0.(h)01), 665 Sabine (P=3.(h)932+/-0.(h)008), 914 Palisana (
P=15.(h)62+/-0.(h)01). No large modulation of the B - V color is in ge
neral evident for all the observed objects.
