Abstract
Some new distorted trigonal bipyramidal complexes of dichlorobis(cyclo pentadienyl)titanium(IV) and dichlorobis(cyclopentadienyl)zirconium(IV ) with N2S2 and S2O2 ligands derived from ($) under bar o-aminobenzene thiol have synthesised. A number of cyclisation reactions and addition reactions have been carried out on the complexes in order to study th eir effect on the stability of carbon-metal-carbon bonding and on meta l ligand bonding behaviour. The compounds were characterised by elemen tal analysis, conductance measurement, IR spectral and H-1 NMR spectra l studies.
