Abstract
Positron lifetime spectroscopic and Doppler-broadening measurements ha ve been carried out on trans-stilbene single crystals. The results (in cluding the complementary DSC measurement) give new evidence for the e xistence of phase transitions in trans-stilbene at temperatures betwee n 20 and 300 K.
