Abstract
The influence of intraperitoneal injection of procine glucagon (0.5 mg /ml/kg b. wt. daily) on serum calcium and inorganic phosphate levels o f Bufo andersoni, Calotes versicolor and Sinonatrix piscator was inves tigated. The treatment induced hypocalcemia and hypophosphatemia among these species.
