Abstract
Using two coordination bonds, a porphyrin-quinone supramolecule with a large association constant is assembled; intramolecular photoinduced electron transfer from the excited singlet state of the porphyrin to t he quinone is observed by steady-state fluorescence quenching and time -resolved fluorescence studies.
