Abstract
beta-Cyclodextrins appended with a calix[4]arene moiety at the seconda ry face are very efficient host molecules for the fluorescent dyes 1-a nilino-8-naphthalenesulfonate and 2-p-toluidino-6-naphthalenesulfonate with unprecedented high complexation constants.
