Abstract
The title compound, [WBr2(C6H7N)(2)(C10H8N2)], is a neutral tungsten(I I) mononuclear octahedral coordination complex. The two 4-methylpyridi ne molecules are in the trans staggered conformation with an interplan ar angle of 86.5 (3)degrees. The bidentate bipyridine ligand is slight ly twisted, the angle between separate planar pyridine moieties being 5.7 (5)degrees.
