Abstract
The ultra heavy cosmic ray experiment (UHCRE) on the Long Duration Exp osure Facility (LDEF) collected approximately 3000 cosmic ray nuclei w ith Z > 65 in the energy region E > 1.5 GeV/n. Almost 40% of the sampl e has been analysed to date. Details of the overall charge abundance p attern is outlined with estimates of the actinide abundance. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd
