Abstract
In this work, a series of Pyrene-Dicyanovinylbenzene (Py-DCVB) Compoun ds with different chain length were designed and synthesized. Using ab sorption, fluorescence and H-1 NMR spectra of Py-DCVB compounds, the r elationship between the exciplex formation and the ground state confor mation were investigated. Through transient spectra study, the mechani sm of intramolecular electron transfer viaexciplex was confirmed by th e observation of salt effect.
