Abstract
The oxide-reduction and reduction-reoxidation specificity of heteropol yacid salts containing various kinds of alkali metals used for one-ste p oxidition of isobutyraldehyde to produce methacrolic acid was studie d by ESR method. The effects of alkali and transition metals on oxido- reduction specificity of catalysts were discussed. Oxide-reduction cap ability of transition metal Cu, V, Mo in catalysts was compared. The e ffect of the behaviour of easy oxidiation of Cu+ on catalytic activity was also analyzed.
