L. Savary et al., EFFECTS OF THE STRUCTURAL AND CATIONIC PROPERTIES OF AV(2)P(2)O(10) SOLIDS ON PROPANE SELECTIVE OXIDATION, Catalysis today, 32(1-4), 1996, pp. 305-309
The activity performances of five AV(2)P(2)O(10) compounds of either o
rthorhombic (A = Cd, Ca), or monoclinic (A = Cd, Ba, Ph) symmetry type
s, have been compared for propane partial oxidation. They present a ra
ther good activity (9% of propane conversion at 460 degrees C) and a h
igh selectivity (60% of propene selectivity). Results are discussed as
a function of the differences in the structural properties. Kinetic s
tudies were also performed for propane and propene oxidation reaction.
