Abstract
The radical 4,5,5-tetramethyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazolyl-1-oxyl 3-oxide (1) was polymerized by oxidative coupling to yield 4,5,5-tetramethyl- 4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazolyl-1-oxyl 3-oxide) (2) containing components of relatively low molecular weight. Different precipitation methods were used for the workup of polyradical 2. An influence of the precipitati on method on the magnetic properties was observed.
