Abstract
In western Morocco, the Early Paleozoic sedimentary sequences, contemp oraneous with a magmatic and hydrothermal activity, were deposited wit hin a rift. The tectonic subsidence ceased diachronously, earlier in t he south (end of the Early Cambrian) than in the north (end of the Mid Cambrian).
