Abstract
We review several of the most recently developed topics in the field o f fluxon dynamics in Josephson junctions. The main emphasis is placed on new systems and experimental methods which are currently under inve stigation. The selected topics are (i) fluxons in stacked long Josephs on junctions, (ii) dynamics of one-dimensional underdamped Josephson j unction arrays and (iii) spatially resolved investigations of fluxon d ynamics. Future prospects are also discussed.
