Abstract
We propose a new solution concept for fuzzy programming problems. It i s based on our new method of solving fuzzy equations [10]. For simplic ity we discuss in detail only fuzzy linear programming in this paper. We define, and obtain the basic properties of the joint solution (a fu zzy vector in R'') and the optimal value of the objective function (a fuzzy number). Three examples are presented illustrating these concept s.
