Abstract
A 1.32 mu m suboctave analogue fibre optic link with a measured spurio us free dynamic range of 123dBHz(4/5) has been demonstrated at an aver age detector photocurrent of 0.25mA. This link employs a packaged InGa AsP electroabsorption waveguide modulator biased to suppress the third -order intermodulation distortion.
