In this paper the theoretical and experimental performance of a wideba
nd PET harmonically synchronized frequency divider is presented. A lar
ge signal nonlinear transconductance description is adopted; then the
locking range can be calculated by use of the method of averaging, Whe
n the bias of varactor in PET frequency divider is properly adjusted,
the experiments show that such a wide-band divider can operate in the
30.5-35.2 GHz range with a small injection power level.
