Abstract
Photon correlation spectroscopy has been used for studying the process es of asphaltene aggregation and flocculation in hydrocarbon solutions . The kinetics of asphaltene flocculation and the stability of asphalt ene aggregates are strongly affected by the nature of the solvent. A s imple theoretical model has been developed in order to interpret the e xperimental results.
