Abstract
A much simplified method for the demonstration of bone morphology usin g Schmorl's picro-thionin technique is described, and the necessity fo r reliable samples of thionin emphasised. Findings from previous exper iments provide the evidence and theoretical background to justify the use of certified stains for this purpose.
