Abstract
Ten new or noteworthy Malesian species of Loranthaceae are discussed. The known area of the relictual Cecarria obtusifolia (Merrill) Barlow is increased to include Flores and Timer. Dendrophthoe curvata (Blume) Miquel is accepted as a distinct species. The status of Dendrophthoe falcata (L. f.) Ettingsh. is discussed, and the species is excluded fr om the Malesian flora. Dendrophthoe gangliiformis Barlow is described as a new species from Celebes, Alor and Tanimbar. A new combination, D endrophthoe kerrii (Craib) Barlow, is made for the mainland Asian taxo n Loranthus kerrii Craib. Dendrophthoe x rimituba Barlow is described as a new nothospecies endemic to Sumatra. A new combination, Dendropht hoe timorana (Danser) Barlow, is made for a species previously placed in the genus Amyema. Loranthus odoratus Wallich is recorded from Sumat ra as a new genus and species for Malesia. Macrosolen brevitubus Barlo w is described as a new species endemic to Borneo. The identity of Mac rosolen melintangensis (Korthals) Miquel, a widespread species in west ern Malesia, is established. Trithecanthera sparsa Barlow is described as a new species endemic to Borneo.
