Abstract
Chlorindicarboxylic acids with different alkyl side chains were prepar ed and their amphiphilic properties studied. The chemical purity, phot ophysical properties and the lipophilicity due to the alkyl side chain s make the chlorins potential candidates for applications in photodyna mic therapy.
