EFFICIENT 2-LAYER LEDS ON A POLYMER BLEND BASIS

Polymer blends in organic LEDs offer the advantage of processibility c oupled with flexibility with respect to the chromophores which can be incorporated into their structures. The polymer matrix is also thought to have a positive effect on the quantum efficiency and other LED per formance indicators. Two-layer devices have also been shown recently t o yield improved performances. Here, a two-layer device based on polym er blends is reported.
