Abstract
Tuning of the undoped-doped color contrast can be obtained in poly(3-h exylthiophenes) through the electropolymerization of oligomers of diff erent length and regiochemistry. The regiochemistry affects the optica l properties of the materials and molecular design allows the producti on of complementary electrochromic materials for variable light transm ission devices.
