Abstract
We present the results of a test performed on double gap Resistive Pla te Counters (RPC) operating with low percentage isobutane mixtures. Th e measured parameters will be compared to those obtained in the same c osmic rays test with RPC operating in standard gas mixture conditions. The detectors are equipped with a new 63 MHz parallel readout system optimized to handle RPC signals in accelerator physics environment.
