Jr. Hubbard, THE ATLAS TRIGGER DAQ SYSTEM, Nuclear instruments & methods in physics research. Section A, Accelerators, spectrometers, detectors and associated equipment, 360(1-2), 1995, pp. 331-333
We review the key features of the Ist and 2nd level triggers and the s
ubsequent data acquisition for the ATLAS experiment at LHC. Particular
attention is given to compatibility of the architecture with the most
important physics processes. Modelling and custom design developments
, and plans for prototype testing of the DAQ, are described.
