Abstract
A systematic review of the Colombian species of the tribe Pterideae (P teridaceae) resulted in the discovery of two new species of Pteris: P. muricatopedata and P. albertiae, both in the Deflexa group. Two speci es are reported for the first time from Colombia: P. bakeri C. Chr. an d P. lechleri Mett.
