Abstract
This article describes a rare malignant schwannoma invading the left m andible in a 42-year-old man. The clinical presentation, inconclusive radiographic findings, and light microscopic histology are included. T he appropriate surgical treatment could be determined only intraoperat ively when frozen sections provided the exact tumor margins. The patie nt subsequently received adjuvant treatment by brachytherapy.
