Abstract
Great progress has just been accomplished in the diagnosis of the stat e of coke ovens. Various rigid and flexible (Videofil probe) endoscope s developed at CPM make it possible to detect and analyse better deter iorations in the batteries. In addition to their diagnostic function, these tools have been used several times for aid in repairs.
