Abstract
The Sollac Seremange steel plant has just commissioned a new secondary metallurgy. This ladle metallurgy is composed of two tank degassers a nd two addition systems on line with two ladies furnaces. The reladlin g stands have been suppressed and the ladies have been equipped with p orous plugs. This ladle metallurgy makes possible the production of gr ades such as ultra-low carbon or hydrogen grades. These grades are cas t either on the CC2 slab easter or the modified CC1 bloom easter.
