Abstract
The separation of quinoline and iso-quinoline is studied using dissoci ation extraction. The effect of various parameters e.g. concentration, isomer ratio and solvents is presented. A universally applied equatio n for the calculation of separation factor has been used and found to require modification by inclusion of activity coefficients for the spe cies present in the system.
